Something I look forward to most this time of year is the holiday cards. I love seeing the creative ways my friends and family send me their season’s greetings. Typically I get the 5"x7” card or the 4"x8” photo card, and I usually send out the same thing. This year, I want to send something different, unique, outside the box. I started thinking about my options and the light came on.

At Stouse, our Order Entry department is in charge of getting all orders entered into our system correctly. They translate hundreds of different PO’s each day and enter that many orders. Our Order Entry Specialists take a lot of care to ensure that your order is entered with accurate information. When a job is submitted with good art and the PO, or online order, has all the relevant information, that job will get entered and moved on without delay. However, when jobs are submitted with incomplete / incorrect information, this requires extra time to correct the errors. Below are 5 easy steps to ensure that your job gets entered accurately and on time.

In my 20 years at Stouse in many job capacities, I have come to learn that there will always be new and unusual request for products and custom quotes. They are what keep my day interesting and my brain always thinking. Sometimes, our customers will get into a groove of ordering a specific type of product from us and forget about the rest of our product line. It never ceases to amaze me when you start talking about a products that you have produced for years and you hear “I didn’t know that you produced that!” Never be afraid to ask Stouse about a special request from your customer.
Make sure you’ve covered your bases on what information to include on your card. Don’t ever be in a situation where someone doesn’t know how to contact you. Name, title, phone number and email address at the minimum. Also, we recommend including the general office number for your company and website. Idea: space permitting, add a QR code that links to your website.

With spring around the corner, everyone is gearing up for outdoor events. Stickless Rally Fans are an excellent way to promote a candidate, business or event. Without a stick, the design looks clean and classy. Small enough to fit in a purse, quiet enough to use in church! Users are more likely to keep these “cool” hand fans around and your product won’t end up in the trash. The fans are popular for weddings, funerals, parades, sporting events and political rallies.
Exhibiting at various trade shows and industry events, I have met many people from a broad range of businesses and roles. Even with this diverse group, I will often get asked the same question, “How do we bring in new customers?” And, whether it’s owners or artists, embroiderers or sign shops, innovative ideas are in high demand to find these “new opportunities”.
